StoneWeave – Eco-friendly stone carpets system

StoneWeave by PANTECH POLYCOATS (P) LTD is a high-performance decorative stone carpet system designed for sustainable, fast-draining outdoor surfaces. It combines natural stone aggregates in various colour combinations with a solvent-free, green binder to create durable, attractive flooring that remains easy to clean and maintain.

StoneWeave’s high-performance clear polyurethane finishes provide UV resistance and non-yellowing stability, yielding an attractive, long-lasting surface. Its permeable structure promotes efficient water management, while the system’s simplicity and durability make it ideal for architects, contractors, and large-scale projects demanding sustainable, easy-to-maintain flooring solutions.

  • Easy installation: A simple 1:10 mixing ratio (binder to stone aggregate) and straightforward application mean StoneWeave can be applied by standard flooring applicators without specialized equipment. 

  • Durable finish (optional): A clear, high-performance polyurethane topcoat can be applied for additional gloss and UV protection, resulting in a non-yellowing, easy-to-clean surface. 

Application:

Suitable for pedestrian movement on walkways, garden paths, pool side decks, in portico, terraces etc. Also suitable for light movement of light vehicles like cars etc.

PanTech UNI Primer: Solvent free PU primer (Resin + Hardener) Stone carpet material : 

PanTech Stone Weave resin: 4 kg 

PanTech Stone Weave hardener: 3.6 kg Filler in the ratio of 1:10 as per thickness requirement

Specifications, Thickness and Consumption details:

Primer: Solvent free polyurethane clear 

Stone carpet: Solvent free UV stable polyurethane clear 

Aggregate size 2-3mm: Thickness of system 8 to 10 mm 

Aggregate size 3-5mm: Thickness of system 12 to 15 mm 

Density: 1900 kg/cu mtr For repair of cracks and potholes use PanTech MR1 primer and EM1 fast cure mortar

Substrate Condition:

The concrete floor surface shall be properly prepared by shot blasting, grinding, or scarifying to achieve a clean, sound, and suitably roughened substrate. All loose particles, dust, and debris shall be completely removed using an industrial vacuum cleaner. The concrete surface must be structurally sound, free from laitance, and not crumbling.

The minimum compressive strength of the substrate concrete shall be at least equivalent to M20 grade or as required based on the final design loading to which it will be subjected. A suitable primer shall be applied to the prepared surface in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and allowed to cure fully prior to the application of the screed.

Shelf life: 3 months from the date of supply
Installation Procedure:

  1. Surface preparation: Grind and repair any cracks or defects to ensure a clean, stable substrate. 

  2. Primer application: Apply a moisture-resistant, solvent-free polyurethane primer to the prepared surface. 

  3. Stone Weave application: Mix the components at a 1:10 ratio (binder to stone aggregate) and uniformly apply the Stone Weave mixture to the primed area. 

  4. Leveling (if required): Use a suitable screed to fill potholes or uneven areas, achieving a smooth, level surface. 

  5. Optional topcoat: Once the StoneWeave surface has set, apply a clear glossy polyurethane finish for enhanced protection and appearance.
